Winning the “Outstanding Rock Act of the Year” title at the 2008 Boston Music Awards is a pretty damn good way to close out a year and Wild Light are only going to build upon the momentum of that victory in 2009.
Leading up to the release of their debut album Adult Nights on March 3rd of 2009 (full track listing below), the group will be touring for a solid two months with music blog favorites Tapes ‘n Tapes. Four tracks from the album are available for streaming on the Wild Light MySpace page and if there’s just one track you check out, make it the opening track “California On My Mind”. I’m not typically a fan of harmonica, but this song will the source of some serious enjoyment through the spring of 2009.
