Symphony of Voices
Go-Kart Records

Having averaged nearly 100 live shows a year for their eight-year existence and volunteered their bodies to medical research in order to buy a new van to continue a tour, Athens, Georgia-based Guff may come off as a rough and tumble punk band that just might have a rough sound based on their strong DIY ethics. It turns out that the overall sound of Symphony of Voices' thirteen tracks is quite polished and while some may scoff at such slick production values, it pairs quite well with Guff's overall energetic, melodic, and somewhat anthemic sound. Loaded with guitar riffs, Symphony of Voices should appeal to those that appreciate a degree of technical precision in their music as well as those just seeking a consistent selection of upbeat, catchy punk.
