When I was a child, I marveled at the cover art of this album for its fantastic imagery and its scatological and sexual elements. Shrunk down to about 20% of its original area, the cover art suffers somewhat, but the digital remastered album is bigger for the ears. The album includes three bonus tracks: "Philadelphia Freedom", "One Day at a Time", and the standout and somewhat reggae cover of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds". Like Tumbleweed Connection, this is an Elton John and Bernie Taupin concept album. The album reviews the pair's rise to success and offers the hit "Someone Saved My Life Tonight". This is a pinnacle in the partnership and succeeding albums pale in comparison.
