It was back in July of 2007 when the last M. Ward release, Duet for Guitars #2, came out on Merge Records. Since then Ward has been busy working with actress and singer Zooey Deschanel as She & Him and working as producer, guitarist and arranger for the Volume One release created a real gem.

Deschanel, as well as Lucinda Williams, Jason Lytle and Tom Hagerman all make appearances on the upcoming M. Ward release, Hold Time, which is scheduled for release on February 17, 2009 via Merge Records.
