Listeners of the podcast got a taste of Copenhagen-based group Figurines‘ new album, When the Deer Wore Blue, back in July in the form of the track “Hey, Girl” which was released as a single via iTunes back on August 7th, and now, nearly three months later, the September 11th U.S. release date via The Control Group for the album is nearly upon us.

Figurines create a blend of airy, spacious arrangements and bouncing rhythms that present the atmosphere of an open journey. They’ll be heading out to North America in support of When the Deer Wore Blue in October (North American tour dates below) and will also be performing European dates before and after these dates.
