This past Sunday I had the pleasure of seeing Alina Simone and her drummer John Lynch perform in Seattle at The Rendezvous’ Jewel Box Theater. Before the show I had a chance to sit down with Alina and do an interview. I’m still deciding how exactly I want to release the interview – podcast, straight transcription, transcription w/ audio clips – but wanted to make sure everyone knew that it is on the way, especially Jim from Spokane who made the drive out to see Alina on Sunday with two friends after seeing her perform Saturday in Spokane. I hope to have the interview posted Friday night, but going with a safe “sometime this weekend” deadline may be the best bet.
