Green Rode Shotgun Goes on Hiatus
Nashville group Green Rode Shotgun announced that they will be taking an indefinite hiatus.
From the band’s newsletter:
We started this band because we love making music together. Over the past several months we recieved a lot of “industry” attention, and, although that is exciting, it also creates a lot of pressure to be more aware of the business implications of everything you do, play, etc. That mindset took its toll on our creative energy and spirit. With respect to these facts we have decided to take a break.
Jason Johnson, singer for the quintet, has plans to enter graduate school next fall while remaining members Shea Callahan, Dave Henderson, John Lane, and Don Sergio have started a new group Yenko Camaro. For those in the Nashville area, Yenko Camaro will be playing at The Basement on Friday, December 16th.
