Nirvana Box Set to be the Next Tickle Me Elmo

The three-CD Nirvana boxed set previously planned for release for the Christmas season of 2001 — the 10th anniversary of Nevermind — will finally see the light of day this Novermber in time for the busiest shopping day of the year. With limited copies to feature a bonus DVD with footage of the band playing a house party in 1987, this release will certainly offer more for fans than the 2002 self-titled release that only featured one previously unreleased track, “You Know You’re Right”. Nirvana has sold nearly 1.5 million copies to date and retailers are hoping that the box set will surpass it this holiday season.
