The PhiLL(er) Interviews Greater California

On August 16th Terry Prine, Nick Benich, Chris Berens, and Greg Brown of the band Greater California joined me on the phone for a quick interview. We discussed various aspects of their newest release Somber Wurlitzer including how the group came to own the Wurlitzer piano, late night recording sessions, and a sense of nostalgia.

The opening music for the podcast is actually from the opening track of Somber Wurlitzer, “The Appearing”. Closing out the interview is “May Day” also from the same album.
