I recently made it my goal to better keep up with all the MySpace event invites that I get everyday. Why? Well because of my lack of attention to the social networking site, I totally missed that Coulier played its last show on June 23rd! Their albums Cool, Cooler, Coulier and Vibin’ were seriously awesome examples of musical mastery. Flagpole has a great write up on the Coulier and their final show.

In case you haven’t heard (I’ve been passed out on NyQuil the last couple of nights so am behind in posting this), the Murder City Devils are reuniting to play this year’s Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle. I first heard rumors regarding the band reuniting on The Plan Nine Rock Show and an immediate smile came across my face. Holding the top spot on my list of best live performances, I will definitely be there on July 29th to see them play.

Other bands scheduled to perform are: Pretty Girls Make Graves, Band of Horses, Common Market, Himsa, Black Angels, Slender Means, Minus The Bear, Silver Sun Pickups, Smoosh, and Schoolyard Heros.
