New EP from LITE Due Out This October

Japanese group LITE spent time earlier this year during their first US tour to record a set of songs in Baltimore with J Robbins (Jawbox, Faraquet) and are now preparing to release three of the tracks on a new EP titled Turns Red. Judging by the opening track “The Sun Sank” (video above), this release, which will be coming out on the band’s label, I Want the Moon, represents a significant shift from their previous sound as they integrate synthesizers throughout.

For a taste of some of the band’s previous work, check out their video for “Ghost Dance” or the track “Human Gift“.
