“Directions”, a project created by Death Cab for Cutie bassist Nick Harmer and Aaron Stewart-Ahn, sees the commission of twelve music videos for each of the tracks on the band’s most recent album, Plans which was recently nominated for a Grammy. The videos were created by experienced directors as well as artists new to producing music videos. The videos are planned for a rolling release throughout January 2006 on the band’s website www.deathcabforcutie.com.

Former Guided By Voices frontman Robert Pollard has just announced details regarding his solo tour in support of his album From A Compound Eye to be released on Merge Records on January 24, 2006.
